Dutch-Born Singer And Songwriter, Who Has Collaborated With LMFAO, Will.i.am., Chris Brown, and Afrojack, Will Release New Single, "I Don't Like You," on March 26th
SANTA MONICA, Calif., March 22, 2012 - Eva Simons , who has been building a buzz in the electronic dance music world for her collaborations with LMFAO, will.i.am, Chris Brown, and Afrojack, has announced that she will make several appearances at this year's Winter Music Conference in Miami.She will perform at Nikki Beach nightclub in South Beach, as well as at the Mixmag party at The Ice Palace. Both shows take place on March 23rd. Having been noted last year by Billboard magazine as a "One To Watch" all eyes have since been on this bright new emerging talent.
Following her shows at WMC, the Dutch born-and bred Simons will release her debut Interscope single, "I Don't Like You," produced by ZEDD, on March 26th. It is the first single from Simons' upcoming debut album which is scheduled for release this year.
"Been having great fun with this album, exploring and defining my artistic sound, and in doing so defining my own identity and positioning within the market place. Trying fresh new ideas, both production and song wise, always seeking out that next lane, and always always striving to be progressive!!!" says Eva.
The singers massive dance hit "Take Over Control" which she also co-wrote, topped the iTunes dance charts globally, and has sold nearly a million downloads in the U.S. alone, while the video has racked up more than 10 million views on YouTube.
Born in Amsterdam, Simons was raised in a musical family by a pianist father and vocalist mother and has been playing piano and writing compositions since she was a child. Eva is a graduate from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Along with her other pre-mentioned musical attributes, she is also a classically trained pianist.
This summer, watch out for Simons when she hits the road with LMFAO, Far East Movement, the Quest Crew, Sidney Samson, and Natalia Kills for Redfoo And Cherrytree Present: LMFAO's "Sorry For Partying Rocking Tour."
